His system is 100% compliant. Since he's already installed it, it's a wait and see but I think he's be OK. When the official release of the update comes down the pike on update Tues. in Sept. It will replace that preview update.

Yes but, it will also be debugged. I usually Pause the updates for 7 days
and if no one complains then, I will install.

Well in 2215 I don't get a refresh screen, in 2134 I do. Winshowadd does not hide the optional app but WAU does. So I will use that.

I Just did an inplace install repair and left it alone.

Well apparently it's only on MSI boards with the latest BIOS update.
I guess MS & MSI aren't talking anymore.
Feel bad for you that you had to repair your OS.

Well My OCD got to me as I could stand seeing the CU just sitting there. My PC at least starts, I just miss the safely remove icon thing in the tray. :cool:

We all hope that this will be fixed by next month but, as you well know,
MS isn't in any hurry these days.
Just hit the X and forget about it or just don't look at it Josey.

Yes , I know but, you were still missing an important option.
It will cover more than just a BSOD plus MSI recommends that
you don't install the update.
Using Macrium is always a good option when you don't have
a workaround or fix. Plus, saves you allot of mucking around.
Now, Pls do not re-install that update. Is there anything I could
do to help with your OCD ?
