Windows Media Player changed how music was stored.

I was recently updated to Windows 11 Version 23H2 (OS Build 22631,4751). My music was sorted in the usual ways, artist and album. Since the update, my music is now a giant (1800+ songs) playlist-type listing. Is there a way to revert my music into the pre-Windows sorting system?

A couple of follow-up questions, one being probably stupid. If I uninstall Windows 11 Media player and install legacy player will it automatically sort songs into their proper albums? Stupid question- Will this process delete music if I uninstall Windows 11 media player?
