I never heard of that brand.......Kingspec. The reviews mention it dying as well. Ironically the reviews are a bit more positive on amazon but there are complaints there as well.

And when I go to their page they don't seem to offer their own utility for looking at the health of the drive or for firmware updates.
Honestly for the price you paid for it you could have gotten a name brand imho. (On a decent sale)

Your log for crystal disk health info looks fine for both the 2TB and the 4TB and the rest of the other drives.

I trust crystal disk info usually, but the errors in event viewer do seem rather odd. Are you experiencing any problems with the system besides the error messages in event viewer?

Since this is a sata ssd, Sometimes a bad sata cable can cause weird errors. You can first try reseating the cable. You could also try getting a locking sata cable that fully secures on both ends to ensure a good connection.

If its acting odd in any way after that, I would send it back and take advantage of the warranty.

I peeked in the Event viewer day before yesterday and noted the events. decide to run 'Error checking' on the drive and Windows noted errors needing correcting (required a reboot) and Windows did it's thing at reboot. Took a bit of time then rebooted fine. Did not note any issue/s with the drive.

Today I peeked again into 'Event viewer' and still a slew more of the same events. Ran error check again and now it's on 'Scanning & Repairing...

Odd to say the least. First error in event viewer is back on May 16 with 48,XXX events and growing....

Honestly with the brand being so unknown, its possible there is a bug in the firmware that is causing this. Or something is actually wrong with it. The fact that you haven't had it long I would just personally send it back and get something more name brand. Or even just a replacement and see if it goes away. But that's just me.

However before sending it back I would try the locking sata cable, it cant hurt and they are a lot better and more reliable then the standard sata cables.

ok if you used a locking sata cable then either ignore the error and wait for the possibility of the drive to die, or get a replacement through warranty. Or just get a better brand.

I unfortunately am not sure whats going on with it. The smart data seems to be fine.
