I know of no occurrence of this problem. Mine works fine. Do you sync Edge? If so all your favorites should have synced and been present when you signed in to Edge after a clean install. (see screenshot of Edge settings))
It appears you are a couple of windows updates behind. Not including the release preview, the release version is now 22631.3737. Tomorrow is update Tuesday so the version will change.
Check your version of Edge. Mine is Version 126.0.2592.87 (Official build) (64-bit)
Repair Edge
- Go to Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features.
- In the apps list, select Microsoft Edge and then select Modify. If the Modify command isn't available, it's likely that your organization installed Microsoft Edge and is managing it for you. For help, contact your system administrator.
- When prompted Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?, select Yes.
- Make sure you're connected to internet and select Repair.
Here is a MS post with some more suggestions.
