Unfortunately since we only get a License to use Windows we are at the mercy of Microsoft's programs when getting upgrades and updates putting things back to default settings. Two or more computers are alike only when on the seller's shelf, once setup and put into use there will always be at least one difference between them, using defaults works better for diagnosing problems. Customizations can screw them up.

I did number of clean install of Windows 11. Now I understand I can't change anything in the browser. It's look like a bug.
The favorites important for me.

I know of no occurrence of this problem. Mine works fine. Do you sync Edge? If so all your favorites should have synced and been present when you signed in to Edge after a clean install. (see screenshot of Edge settings))
It appears you are a couple of windows updates behind. Not including the release preview, the release version is now 22631.3737. Tomorrow is update Tuesday so the version will change.

Check your version of Edge. Mine is Version 126.0.2592.87 (Official build) (64-bit)

Repair Edge
  • Go to Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features.
  • In the apps list, select Microsoft Edge and then select Modify. If the Modify command isn't available, it's likely that your organization installed Microsoft Edge and is managing it for you. For help, contact your system administrator.
  • When prompted Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?, select Yes.
  • Make sure you're connected to internet and select Repair.

Yep, that is Microsoft's wont. On many occasions after an update has been applied, Edge will revert back to some of the basic settings, irrespective of the users wishes

And syncing doesn't offer much more solace. Microsoft only let's the user sync those settings that it wants to allow, and you can still spend (waste) time checking other settings that Microsoft thinks the user should have, or tries to second guess what the user wants

One of the most despised browsers, hence the popularity of much more superior 3rd party browsers. Fast becoming the browser of last resort.

I did modify, remove extension, sfc /scannow, and it no help.

Thank you for replies.

The problem is that I can't do changes inside the browser. For example I can import/export Favorites but I can't add/remove sites to it.

I have no problem with Edge Canary. I think I need to uninstall Edge (stable) and install it again.

I tried ipconfig /flushdns and it look like it's work. I hope not be surprised.
