Antivirus switch?


For the OP, change sucks ... I can't think of anything other than researching all the AV providers out there, and picking the one that meets all your requirements. If you have enough Malwarebytes lifetime licenses, it's good stuff, and should suffice without defender in the mix ...

I use ESET, on pc's & smartphones where the family member might not be up to speed on avoiding the security problems out there. Otherwise, I don't install anything other than malwarebytes free (I dislike subscriptions, and I believe they don't offer lifetime licenses any longer). Never a problem ...

And, I disable defender ... if something doesn't come with tweak buttons (as in, disable, stop updates, etc.), it gets removed ...
