A few days ago, per the BSOD Crash Analysis posting instructions, I obtained a report on my system from V2 Log Collector. In another thread, a comment on that report observed that there were some drive errors. Examples from that comment:
I have attached an updated V2 report. I'm not sure how to effectively view or search that report, or what I might use instead, to isolate or highlight such errors. Their existence was a surprise. Since I haven't done anything, during the past few days, that (to my knowledge) would eliminate such errors, I assume the attached, updated report contains more of the same. Suggestions are welcome. An error was detected on device \Device\Harddisk4\DR5 during a paging operation.
{Delayed Write Failed} Windows was unable to save all the data for the file \:$I30:$INDEX_ALLOCATION.
Failure status: A device which does not exist was specified.
The default transaction resource manager on volume P: encountered a non-retryable error and could not start.
The system failed to flush data to the transaction log. Corruption may occur in VolumeId: \\?\Volume{aae20b56-3001-4042-8080-6bf48c7965ca}, DeviceName: \Device\HarddiskVolume7.
The IO operation at logical block address 0x800 for Disk 3 (PDO name: \Device\000000d3) was retried.
