I am looking to get my daughter a new set of PC speakers. Something with small footprint but loud enough to fill her room.
I've been reading about this Edifier G2000 and I am surprised that besides the good reviews on sound quality, it actually has a sub out. I am still looking around but so far, this is the best I've seen so far for the price, size and sound quality.

I'm somewhat jealous I can't use my turntable at the moment. On the other hand, I've not ventured into the steps needed to make it happen as most of the stuff I really want to hear has been replaced with the CD version. Still...

BTW, I don't have that Chuck Mangione album, but I've got a few including these on both vinyl and CD....

I decided to give the Edifier G2000 a try.
It actually can drive my Sub8 subwoofer.

The only Andre Previn I have out of my near 3 thousand CDs, and 900 albums is Jesus Christ Superstar....

Aside from that soundtrack (also have the Andrew Lloyd Weber version), I've never gotten into classical or orchestral music. The only reason I got those is for "Superstar", which I've always loved, though I think Andrew's version is better which is sung by Murray Head, vs. Ian Gillan (Andre).

Not much..., I have a pair of Jabra 85h but I don't use them much..., I prefer buds.

Two reasons:

the Jabra Cans are uncomfortable with reading glasses on,
the Jabra Cans Bluetooth range isn't very good..., I can walk around my entire yard wearing my Sony Earbuds and not lose the signal.

It's more a conversation piece requiring input but if you're not into expensive headphones, its one-way dead end.

I'm wearing my reading glasses now as I type this while listening to some Miles through my Sennheiser HD700 phones. No issues here. But I understand these are personal preferences.

I do also have a pair of Bose NC 700 wireless phones, but they can't compete with my wired HD 700 cans. Anyway, you wear wired phones for siting and enjoying music, not running around the house.

Exactly the same problem I have at work where most meetings are done online these days. But earbuds are also not comfortable after an hour or so. Thankfully I found these open ear bluetooth attachment for glasses by JLab. They sound great for calls (not so much for music). It is supposed to be used in pairs but I only use it one at a time just like when you are using a phone. Very convenient for 8 hour use. I have a USB mic for better audio on the other end.
Been using these for while now.
