And the simplest way to answer that would be to boot into Safe Mode otherwise you could look at doing a "clean start", although, third-party security programs like ESET will just enable themselves again so you will need to remove them completely using their removal tool.Good Question
Just answered my own question, you used the generic "ESET AV Remover" which is really aimed at removing non-ESET AV software, even though it does state that it will remove ESET or at least some of it. Please use the tool recommended in my prior post and it should remove ESET for you.Which removal tool did you use?
