My point was to explain that a game that isn't demanding on my system, Will be less demanding on a better system no?
It also pretty clearly states on there that i dont believe those two games that just happen to be on EA are more performance hungry than any other games. Just naw.
You seem to think that fifa and BF5 have an insanely high performance pull even more so than red dead 2( Pulls way more than both BF and fifa) which just isn't true. Fifa and battlefield would be my choice of "Less demanding games"
No. Even if it's a Entry Level System but stable vs a High End System that's unstable - running the same app - worst case scenario the Low End system will struggle - while the High End System will crash. I've seen this quite literally hundreds of times in practice - while using Heaven Benchmark (which can run just fine be it on an entry rig or high end - stressing even the latter - even tho, it's app released in 2009 with mediocre visuals even for that time - yet still good enough for stressing modern GPUs).
As mentioned above, i don't play this game - so i checked to see if there's any particular issue - and bumped into this topic: Re: Fifa 23 poor pc optimization, 100% gpu usage on menu's. - and complaints like the following:
"FIFA 23 is completely unplayable for me. It stutters badly and the framerate fluctuates between 120 FPS and what looks like ~10 FPS constantly, especially during camera cuts, when GUI comes up but also during gameplay. It doesn't matter which resolution or settings I set, the same stutter persists whether it's on ultra at 4k or lowest settings at 1080p. I wouldn't be surprised if the crappy new EA Anti-Cheat is to blame here either and if we'd need a crack just to get the game perform normally...EA, fix this already!
System Specs:
Intel Core i9 12900KS @5.5 GHz
64GB DDR4-3600 RAM
Nvidia GeForce GTX 3090 24GB (Latest Nvidia GeForce 517.48 drivers)
LG OLED48CX TV as monitor
2TB Kingston KC3000 PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD (OS and high-performance applications)
Logitech G915 TKL Wireless Keyboard
Roccat Kone XP Air Wireless Mouse
Xbox Elite Series 2 Wireless Controller
Thrustmaster T.Flight HOTAS One
Windows 11 Pro 22H2
PS.: Is there a way to switch between Vulkan and DX12? Perhaps one or the other would run better?"

"GPU usage during gameplay jumps up and down between 20-100% and gets really hot, 90+ Celsius. Because of this the fans (in the pc) are constantly running at full speed during gameplay. No problem in the menu. Gameplay and cutscenes are smooth and run stable at 100 fps, 1440p. GPU is a RTX 3080.
Really hoping for a driver that will fix this, PC is extremely loud like this"

"I play on R9 5900X, RTX3080Ti.
The game is an unplayable mess.
- Already have 3 CTDs (during the main menu) in just 1 hour of playing!
- When the game moves to corners or penalties, there is stuttering and FPS drops dramatically.
- Everything looks as if the sharpness is way too high, too bright/too high color contrast.
- The audio is crackling so much it is scary.
- The game recognizes a second ghost controller. After going wired it fixed itself but if I touch the keyboard or move the mouse, the game goes berserk and starts navigating the menus by itself.
- After I force shut down the game it causes my memory to be at 100%, my PC freezes, there audio crackling and I can’t do anything other than wait and hope that it will unstuck itself. I legit got scared the game might fry my hardware. I am scared to launch the game again.
I played at 1440p, uncapped FPS, and graphics on High (not Ultra)."

"Ryzen 5 5600X
RTX 3070
32 GB DDR4
100% Usage GPU 80+ degrees in menu
I made 60HZ in NVIDIA Panel and it solve problem.
But i want play on my 165Hz Monitor with 165Hz. Not 60Hz"

"I'm experiencing this too with Ryzen 7 5800x and RTX 3080. When playing FIFA 23 my PC sounds like it's outright going to take off and launch into space. This really is the only game I play that does this."

"Bad optimization - its one thing. Temperatures another...
But Im monitoring one more thing. Keep You backs on seat.
Same story. I have i9 9900ks + rtx3080Ti.
Game in menu make my PC eat over 450W! Really?!? In menu! WTF?!
During the game peaks over 620W!
RDR2 for example in peaks stays below 540W and I think we can agree that game is much more compex then FIFA 23.
My PC idle use 110W, during heaviest benchmark not exceed 550W. And then EA kicks doors with FIFA 23. 450W in menu and constant over 500W during the game with peaks 620-640W (cutscenes).
So take care for bills. Reall ELECTRONIC arts in energy waste!"

"it's definitely the game
I have a 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-12900KF 3.20 GHz with 32GB RAM and Nvidia Geforce rtx 3080 with 10GB RAM and the only way I'm able to play the game normally is if I have every graphic setting on lowest.
By the way, in my opinion, we do not need to tamper with our PC's or do workarounds etc. in order for this game to work!
If our system meets the minimum requirements the game should be playable. If not then it is fully the responsibility of the developer to improve/update their game so that it does work!
Anything short of that is a breach against consumer's rights as they sold us a product that does not live up to what they promised and further refuse to come up with a fix"

"Hi all,
my GPU (RTX 3080 Ti) is always on 100% usage shown in my task manager. The temperature doesn't go above 66°C and I don't really feel this high usage (except if I watch a video on my second monitor).
No settings seem to change this high usage --> No matter if ingame or in Nvida settings.
Ingame setting are 2560x1440 (16:9) resolution, Fullscreen, without frame limit and dynamic resolution. Those special hair setting are off as well.
It doesn't change at all if I play on rendering quality Low or Ultra.
Any ideas how to fix it? I don't want to stress my GPU on 100% usage all the time.
By the way; CPU (i7-12700KF is only at 40%)"

"EDIT RESUME :
FIFA While Streaming on x264 2K5 4090 : -130 FPS
RAM & FREEZ on Slow encoding OBS
FIFA while Streaming on x264 4K 4090 : 130/150 FPS
RAM & FREEZ on Slow encoding OBS
CYBERPUNK : While Streaming on x264 4K 4090 DLSS OFF : 180 FPS
No RAM / No LAG on Slow encoding OBS
REQUIEM : While Streaming on x264 4K 4090 DLSS On : +190 FPS
No RAM / No LAG on Slow encoding OBS
We dont ask DLSS to fifa but how Fifa can have less 130 FPS when CYBERPUNK gave 180
Its evidence of Perf trouble using CPU on very bad way
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello,
Im playing fifa since Volta in 2019
And today Fifa 23 gave me the best gameplay i seen from few years.
Thank you for this game !
BUT ...
Since FIFA 23 release i seen a trouble to share the game when i stream on a Mono PC setup
I thank FIFA 23 is next gen and my 1080ti cant Follow the next generation of game.
So i saying nothing about the game my pc could be too low for the next gen game, i was fair and respectful from your work.
But now i have 4090 and the result is the same, the game doesnt work correctly when im stream and if the 4090 cant do anything no card could on the 3 next years
i keep the same setting than other next gen with or without dlss 3 actived by the drivers but no one have LAG or FREEZ with my Slow OBS setting
So you have a big work to fixe it (ok who stream on single pc under obs with 4090) certainly less people and you dont care
But its just a point of view and point of comparison to say and recognize the game soffer of is dev or portability on PC ?
And have a real technical trouble of performance.
I stream all new game on Slow encoding under OBS all turn very good (witf DLSS 3 active or not) i never encounter a LAG trouble with CPU
DLSS OFF : Even if Cyberpunk havent the DLSS 3 ready i can turn the game with more 190 FPS on Ultra and could be more later after drivers upgrade, while encoding
DLSS ON : Requiem work very fine on DLSS 3 and can offer more 180 FPS on 4K gaming while streaming on slow setting with the same PC
BUT FIFA 23 doesnt work
If i keep the slow setting on OBS the game FREEZ or RAM on 4K / 2500 and 1900 res
So you have a real game architecture trouble with your game where the game use the CPU
i know cause i use a 24 thread and you make my CPU down (5900x) / impossible to be the 4090
I have to use my own fixe to stream and play like i does with my 1080ti ...
if i cut the stream the game turn between 120 fps under 2500
If i cut the stream the game turn between 130 and 150 fps on 4K
isnt normal, is not enought for 3 people and 11 player
We can compare with bigger Next gen game like REQUIEM or CYBERPUNK and your game sux for poor display
So can you fixe quicly your game to be compatible with other App like OBS or Cheat
we will not wait FIFA 24 to have a real next gen game on PC
I dont ask change to keep stream just for all PC player to have a Next Gen Game with descent performance
Is not the fault of our PC too low for your game.
FIFA 23 have a VERY GOOD GAME PLAY DESIGN
But
FIFA 23 have the best poor portability of the VIDEO GAME INDUSTRIE on PC
Finish your game and fixe the core we cant accepte this poor performance on PC"

Seriously, you even quoted my previous post "where i attached the same link" - but instead of checking it (and see where i'm coming from - how i reached that conclusion) - you make assumptions... I get that this is the internet and some users are fond of trolling and meaningless debates - but wasting my time like this (i spent over half an hour - going through his reports and putting all that together) - only for my effort to get trashed by a smart-arse - is where i have to draw the line (enough is enough). Especially since i did/do this pro bono (just for the sake of helping). That being said... I'll be sure to avoid/ignore (one of the best features - biggest improvement for the social side of the virtual world ) you from now on.
