can't figure out this error message


what do i need visual studio for exactly? when i downloaded it, it's asking me to install 16 different workloads and dozens of different components. i'm not against trying this, but i don't want to be installing stuff i don't need.

You are obviously using some sort of software that requires it, or it wouldn't have installed it. By default, Visual isn't installed, unless you manually install it, or you install a software that needs it, which installs it along with it.

i'm not sure i had this installed. i do not recall this icon in my control panel installed programs. i believe i just installed it when you suggested it. just clicking on it installed it. i confirmed this by uninstalling it and then clicking on it again.

i'm gonna try uninstalling it.

C++ is a language for which certain games are created from. If i explained that correctly. MS Visual Studio is used to write those games.

Operating Systems are weird. . . If you pee the wrong way, it'll bring up an error, saying you didn't aim correctly. That's how picky Windows is
