Laptops are the best option for college IMO. I wish we had them when I was in college. But I went in the early 80's.I'm curious If I'm going to like straying from an Intel CPU. I was going to wait to buy a new laptop until I got talking to my wife. We both decided that with our son taking courses at the community college he could get more use from a laptop then with a desktop. It's a win win situation. I get a newer laptop and he get a laptop that is newer and better than the old desktop he is using now.
