Well, I am over 10% now. And while I have you here if I can ask you another question please?I presume I do the Tuneup afterwards?
Do I delete the old bat file first and downloada new one? Yesterday when I tried to run it again, it took hours and hours and didn't leave a log on my desktop.

I don’t know anything about the tuneup. That would be between you and @zbook It may be worth completing though, I have never done it and know noting about it, @Dayna

I’d personally go to the in-place.

If underlying problems can be fixed with an in place upgrade repair then plan to make free or pay backup images.

Tuneup plus is an automated script that runs in the background.

It has scannow, restorehealth, chkdsk, with optimal settings in case there are BSOD.

Yes.

The system image thing; we stress it in here. But it is a process if you haven’t done it before and you need a secondary drive, between 500GB and 1TB is preferred.

If you wanted to take this step, there are a few options. I “personally” find Haslao the simplest, especially for people (me) who don’t like to complicate things anymore than they have to be. Just my opinion.

It would be rare for an In-Place to fail, I don’t know if I have read any issues in here.
