If you folks are interested in themes for FB2K then try these two:

a) Georgia - Georgia
b) Georgia Reborn - Georgia Reborn

Makes FB2K look really pretty. Just one caveat - they don't come with installers and they need manual intervention to get em up and running. Full instructions on the respective sites. Hope you like them.

I don't have it and am debating with myself whether to go for it or not. I really have enough to do, but it would be nice to listen to music while I work.

I have some very old CDs I could rip, but would that be legal if I keep them just for myself?

I use VLC Media Player for video playback...
but some files I like to listen to the audio of video files alone via Foobar2000...
stuff extracted from YouTube via Firefox extension...

I use the following components including built in ones..
FFmpeg Decoders (built in)
FFmpeg Decoder wrapper (needs a copy of FFmpeg.exe and probe exe)

Just foolin around with some components, (so many of them!)

I've installed the FFmpeg Decoder Wrapper and something called mpv Video...,
seems to work okay, a bit of lag though...,
... hard to find stuff that's tried and true!

I use the free program Audacity to grab (record), the audio from Youtubes.
Then I export the song as .mp3

These are the settings I use (old version) so I can record, whatever comes out of my desktop speakers.

Then I just hit the record button (top left), and then start the youtube video, or whatever.
But loike I said... it also works for whatever sound is coming out of your speakers.
