If the "sun were to go out" it would be as a supernova taking the Earth with it. There would be no "cold, dead Earth" to be living on.

Didn't bypass Belgrade, first time I had to buy air conditioner. temps were hitting over 40c

Here, this summer brought 5-6c higher temps than ever recorded. One of leading scientists, Milutin Milankovic (lived here) noticed and calculated changes some120 years ago but blamed sun cycles for them.

Not really - it is about the inexorable average increase year after year. At 1 deg C year, it will only take ten years for you to worry.
