HELP! Blue Screen Errors and now I can't even reinstall Windows 11

If hardware is OK, then it might be due to overheating. Use a compressed air spray or air blower to blow away as much dust as you can. If it is a desktop, open the side cover and blow dust thoroughly, especially around the CPU and fans. The next, more advanced step, is to clean the dry thermal paste between the CPU and the cooler and apply fresh. Once my PC overheated too much that it passed the safety threshold of 105 degrees Centigrade. As a result the CPU from 3.7GHz went down to 1.4GHz and it was slower than a Pentium 4 trying to run modern Windows.

To post a screenshot on this forum...

1. Take the screenshot, (or camera pic), edit it as desired, save to your desktop as .png or .jpg (max. size = 2MB)
2. Left click in your post, where you want to place the screenshot.
3. Click the Attach Files button at lower left, browse to your image and select it.
4. Then click Insert, I usually choose the Thumbnail (smaller) option, or there is a Full Image (larger) option.

If the "new" PrtSc key function is not to your liking... here is how to set it back to it's classic function...

I use Bitdefender Internet Security... which says it's clean... but Virustotal, won't let me upload the file... says: It's in use ??

The V2 log I downloaded was in a zip file. Properties has it at 56.3 MB.

I extracted it to a new folder which properties says is 56.5 MB

I then 7zipped the new folder, and it came out to be... 5.03 MB

Even when just plain zipped...it came out to be 7.63 MB

Something is seriously weird about this file. ^^

The link was just closed.

See if it will run now.

Thx for testing it.

If someone uses defender I'd like to see if it's a defender false positive or whether this computer needs to have defender troubleshooted.

Ok I think I got everything working properly again. It's been two weeks without any problems.

What did I do?

I went and reformatted and reinstalled Windows 11. This time when it asked it I wanted to set up the computer as a new user (?) or use the profile I already had I told it to set the computer up as if it were new. I don't remember exactly what the option was but it was something like this. Previously I had chosen to continue with my existing profile.

This seemed to clear out whatever was causing the problem as once it loaded into Windows it prompted me to install the drivers etc related to the motherboard. I think this what got messed up on my computer before and caused this whole mess.

I also haven't tried reinstalling Norton Antivirus yet. I don't feel like dealing with that headache again. I spoke to their Tech Support and I feel it may have been that I ran their Driver & Software Updater software and this installed something that must have created a hardware driver conflict.
