Furmark; 30 minutes twice; Temp 67* and max was 68* ; CPU varied 44-47%; MoBo Graphics shows in Furmark but has no readings for it other than the MoBo temp which was steady 30*.

That display sure would make a pretty Screen Saver

Before I posted I had a BSOD a couple times and shut down F@H and then the computer reverted to the sign-in screen on the 13th,. 14th, 15th; on the 17th had a BSOD and a sign-in screen; on the 18th at 6am and sometime before 4pm; 19th before 5:30am and between5pm & 6pm; 21st before 5am. This is why I thought the problem may have been fixed early in this posting.

My notes are not ideal because I wasn’t expecting to post for help.

For any BSOD post a new V2 share link into the newest post using drop box or google drive.

Were the Intel and Nvida each able to be disabled during the separate tests?

No, I could find no way to pick them separately or shut off the Graphics on the MoBo.

I will post a V2 for any BSOD.

I had a lot of manual labor work outside this year (I am 85) and I only got BSOD's when I run Folding at Home, and it did not recycle to the sign-in screen, so I run the computer without Folding at Home.

On November 11th I woke up and found the computer shutdown which I never do. So, I booted it up and it after I clicked on my user profile it loaded it for about thirty seconds, not finishing loading, and then restarted, and that was all it would do. The problem was my power supply, as such I now have a new 600W supply rather than the bad 500W (for $1 more). I have been running for two days now with Folding at Home. All seems to be OK.

I thought you all would be interested.

Be happy to do so, but please expand on the request. I tried the link earlier in the thread but all I got was a link to "Tune_plus_log" of 6KB and found nothing posted today in my Logs folder.

The problem is solved by getting a new power supply, but I am willing to give you the files you asked for. I downloaded Tuneup_plus and put it on my desktop but it will not run and have fiddled with it but cannot see why. I am very leery of going into my Windows Secuity area for fear I will goof something up.
Below is the V2 file.

Below is the V2 file.

All of the scripts were created so that the end user must get a prompt to make a manual override.

Code:
Part Two
Run the batch file

To run the batch file, open File Explorer, navigate to where you downloaded the batch file, and then double-click on it or right-click on it and select Open.

DO NOT run it directly from a Download, as your anti-virus may object and stop it running.
Always download it to your hard disk/SSD and then run it there.

When you launch Tuneup_plus_log.bat, you may see the following dialog box:

If you do, click on the Run button or uncheck "Always ask before opening this file" and then click on the Run button.

There is /are one or more third party AV software that may need to be temporarily uninstalled so defender is in use while running scripts.

There was no V2 link seen in the post.

I am using Windows Security. I am frustrated because I was able to run Tuneup+ last spring but cannot now. Yesterday I looked through both of my Program's files in my C drive and all my Start - Programs and Apps cannot see anything I have added since then. I repeated that this afternoon. I am familiar with both Scannow and DISM and run them when I do not have an obvious answer to a problem. I run both this afternoon. the first time Scannow found a corrupted file and fixed it. then I run DISM and it says all is OK.

Any ideas what next?

I run SFC/Scannow...then repeated it because it said it corrected a corrupt file and the second time it said all was well. I run DISM next, and it said all was well. I did not run CHKDSK. I have been at this for over three hours now. I need to stop for now and clear my head.

Be back tomorrow. I am 85 and have a tremor in my hands that make go back and fix what I typed.

I shut off Windows Security this morning and Tuneup still didn't run so it can't be an AV problem. I also did a shift/restart to run chkdsk.

I would not run - - -

* Windows has checked the file system and found problems. Run chkdsk/f
* File system is NTFS
* Windows cannot run disk checking on this volume because it is write protected.

That NTFS / chkdsk info is all new to me. My sense of humor reminded me of sixty years ago when in the Air Force and was told about "spare time activities" ;) . I haven't got double digit hours yet but they are coming. And I hope that I am learning something. Thanks for the help.
