For this new computer the logs reported possible BIOS and drive problems.

Was this a new or old drive?

Was there a power outage after the new Windows installation?

I know it is premature to make a determination but I do feel the machine is much more stable since the BIOS update. A game I would constantly get crashes in, I'm talking if I went 30 minutes without a crash it was an accomplishment, I was able to play for 3 hours without a single crash. I know it is still too early to tell but I thought I would point that out.

The seagate test are running now. The 4TB HD is naturally taking a very long time.

Those index records are not indicative of disk problems, they're completely normal and be ignored. The event log entry is even a information event and not an error. I wouldn't worry about the other event log entry either.

Does the Nord Security include any programs other than Nord VPN? It is most likely the issue here but unfortunately I can't guarantee that Driver Verifier will "catch" anything. Let's keep it running for a little while longer because of the disk checks will have meant it hasn't had a opportunity to run properly.
The only Nord programs I have are Nord VPN and Nord Pass. None of them are any type of antivirus or anything like that. Nord pass is just a password manager. I actually have not even used Nord VPN on this computer that I can recall. I've only been using this PC for a couple of weeks.

Really? Cuz WHocrashed shows different and the time stamp it shows coincides with the crash I experienced:

I'm not sure what you mean by detach all cables. You mean SATA cables? If so, only the HD has a SATA cable. The other drives are M.2 drives.

I ran the Windows 11 in place upgrade and now it looks like the recovery partition is back:

The only thing that concerns me is I ran an sfc /scannow and it said it repaired some corrupted files. I just finished running the Win 11 tool, how can files be corrupted already?

If you need the 1.34 GB unallocated space there are steps available to incorporate it into C:.

I don't really need it since the drive is 1TB but how does that happen? I see this happen quite often with drives where it leaves a sliver of the drive unallocated like that.

Anyways, I am pretty confident that the issue has been resolved although we all know how that goes. Do you think perhaps having the PC run through a stress test all day (AIDA 64 or ASUS Real bench) could initiate a BSOD if the issue was still there? Or maybe best to just to hang back for a week and see if it pops up. The PC never shuts off and is used daily so that usage may be enough.

Two options to increase C: size with the unallocated space are:

1) use third party software

2) delete the recovery partition > extend the C: partition so that there is no unallocated space > in place upgrade repair to create the new recovery partition

Monitor the computer for one week.

Software that stress test hardware often display pass when there is malfunctioning hardware (false negatives).
