No need, I have done it, you can set Admin as the local account name. Just don't set Administrator, it is already taken by the default Administrator account.
I was replying to tinmar49 who though admin (all lower case) might not work. I was 99.9% certain but just did a quick check in a vm first. Of course, as you say no issues at all, and as I also stated avoid administrator.
User names are not case sensitive so these two are considered the same.
It seems in Linux a lot of things are case sensitive including user and file names. User, user, and USER are different and distinct user names. In Linux I try to stick to all lower case because if I used a mixture of cases it would be confusing to remember.
Indeed User and Group Management is not available in Windows 11 Home. The following article says you can add a third party app to add that capability. Has anyone tried something like that?
