Obviously, Mr. Zhang should back up the existing EFI system partition before taking any actions.

I'm going to try this now, hehe. If I come back, maybe there's a play. If I don't reply, it may have been a failureSounds like you might be using linux grub. There is a bootable tool that should be able to add your windows partition to the boot menu.
It is years since I was dual booting windows and linux. This worked well then, it is more recent version now obviously. Worth a try.

Congratulations! Finally, I successfully repaired the EFI of the Windows system on my computer. Thank you all.
I wonder whether native English speakers understand "there's a play" in this context.
Translation software is not always reliable.
No, I speak neither English nor Mandarin.the two of you speak Mandarin which is written the same way it is said while I speak Cantonese
I do not speak English, so I do not understand the gist of it.It’s a phrase we use too, least in U.S. English. Simply means that there may be a way to accomplish something given the variables/circumstances in play for a given situation. Pretty sure anyone speaking any dialect of English understands the gist of it.
means the same thingI do not speak English, so I do not understand the gist of it.
If I were Mr. Zhang, I would have written "a glimmer of hope" rather than "a play" in this context.
That's awesome! I speak Cantonese, Toishan and Hoiping. No, I speak neither English nor Mandarin.
The only language I can speak is Cantonese.
I actually never heard that term before as I would think a play is some type of acting related to theater or playing in sports so regardless, I still learned something new. It’s a phrase we use too, at least in U.S. English. I live in such a country, and I know what a sidewalk is.In non US English speaking countries the "footpath" or where pedestrians go is usually on the side of a road is mostly known as the pavement
By the way, I am also a Cantonese. Writing in English will not be so hard if you spend more time on this forum.By the way, in fact, I am a Cantonese. We were speaking foreign language here, which was too hard for me for us.
