Afternoon Keith, yes slow but that is because they are really unorganized. Can't tell you how many times the utility makers have been. It is like they are building a house without plans.


Morning WXC. Hope your Thursday is a good one too. I'm trying to get some boutique software working with my new phone. Their support group is throwing up all the normal BS fixes. Takes a day and they come back and ask if software is up to date. In my submission I gave them versions of everything. Total BS

Before I retired our connection to the Data Centre running SAS was 100Mbs and we thought that was fast. :rolleyes:

Thanks Ken, yes I did.

Best I can get currently to my house is 80Mbps FTTC, my current deal is 50Mbps (nominally, I actually get 55Mbps most of the time).

There is now a recently laid fibre cable that runs down my street, with access points already in place outside each house. Not gone live yet, but when it does it looks like it will offer 900Mbps.

Not sure I'll bother to switch, as a single person household my 50Mbps is more than enough.....
