One time I added a mouse with Logi Options+ just to test it. When I was done I realized that I did not see a way in Options+ to remove it. I had to launch Logi Bolt to remove it. Was that an oversight on Logitechs part?

Latest version is 1.84 but like you there was an earlier version almost 2 years ago where you could not remove the mouse without the Logi Bolt app.

I have a Logitech M510 mouse. I have Logi Options+ v.1.60.495862 (Dec 6, 2023). If I select to check for updates it says that I have the latest version. If I go to the Logitech support site for the Logitech M510 there is a link to Options+ v1.84.641293 (Nov 7, 2024).

I installed the new version of Options+ and tested it. I added an M325 mouse. I could see both M325 and M510 mice as connected.

It worked OK but I still only showed the M510 mouse. If I turned off the M510 mouse showed inactive and gave me an option to remove it. Even though the M325 worked OK there was simply no way to remove it with Options+. It must be that the M325 is an older mouse is not fully supported with Options+.

It seems that for some older mice like the M325 I have to use Bolt to remove it.

Logitech Options+ 1.85 introduces support for the following devices:

  • C920 Webcams (C920, C920s, C920x)
  • C922 Webcams (C922, C922x, C922 Pro, 1080p Pro Stream)
  • C930s Webcams (C930s, C930n)
  • Brio Webcams (Brio, 4K Pro, Brio 4K, Brio Pro X 4K, Brio UHD 4K, Brio 4K Stream)
  • Brio 500 Webcam (Brio 500, Brio 501, Brio 505)

The recently introduced MX Creative Console received several new features that will help you customize the device:

  • You can find and download new icon packs on the Logi Marketplace.
  • You can now cut and paste actions across pages on the MX Creative Keypad configuration page.

If you have one of the MX Keys Mini keyboards, you will be glad to learn that with the latest Logitech Options+ update, you can access more backlight-related settings on your keyboard, such as backlighting duration, automatic brightness, and automatic battery saving mode. These features are available on the MX Keys Mini for Business, MX Keys Mini for Mac, and MX Keys Mini. Note that you should update your keyboard's firmware first. To do so, open Options+, select your keyboard and click Settings > Check for update.

Finally, Logitech Options+ fixes the following bugs:

  • Firmware update for Brio 500, Brio 501, Brio 505 (Ver 1.0.328)
  • Al Prompt Builder - performance & stability improvements
  • Al Prompt Builder - ability to unassign the Al Prompt Builder

I routinely kill the updater and the 2 crash handlers. And you get an extra one running if you have the AI thingy enabled in settings, now, too. They annoy me to no end.
