Applications

The January NVIDIA Studio Driver provides support for the new GeForce RTX 5090 and GeForce RTX 5080 GPUs. In addition, this release offers optimal support for the latest new creative applications and updates including NVIDIA Broadcast, Blackmagic Design’s DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, Wondershare Filmora, and the DLSS 4 update to D5 Render.

Nvidia's vendor partner Gigabyte has now confirmed the VRAM specifications of the upcoming GeForce RTX 4070 and the RTX 4060 desktop GPUs. The mobile variants of these GPUs are already available.

There were two version of the RTX 3060. One with 12GB of VRAM, and a newer one with 8GB.

I'd prefer the 12GB version because of it has 1.5X the data path width to VRAM as the 8GB one. (As well as having more VRAM, of course.)

Toggling HDR on and off in-game causes game stability issues when non-native
resolution is used.
Monitor may briefly flicker on waking from display sleep if DSR/DLDSR is enabled.
[Halo Wars 2] In-game foliage is larger than normal and displays constant flickering
[GeForce RTX 4090] Watch Dogs 2 may display flickering when staring at the sky

Note - I tried the Vulkan Beta driver and it had issues in a game (Everspace 2 pre-release on Steam), whereas the WHQL 531.41 ran normally on the same game.
