Applications

The January NVIDIA Studio Driver provides support for the new GeForce RTX 5090 and GeForce RTX 5080 GPUs. Thanks I read the original article yesterday showing the performance results and what they found testing at Tom's. Was waiting for a hotfix or something. I didn't actually see any of the performance issues personally yet.

That was where I found the link, the release notes. Ofcourse what has changed between hf.exe and hf1.exe is still a mystery.

the original v556.45 hotfix was having issues in many games I noted in the Nvidia forums...
Lots of issues.
Have a read.

Being a big fan of SFF build for years now, the 50XX cards seem to be putting themselves out of the SFF arena for good. They seem to be monstrously big and nothing less of a mid sized case would be able to accomodate them I don't think...
I'm sure my 4090 will be fine for a few more years (fingers crossed).
