Someone in the comments on the news post about the Hotfix Driver over at Neowin mentioned that it's a bad upgrade for 3000 and 4000 users.

users of old 40 series and below its recommended not to update, the black screen issues extend to 40 series and below (speciallly 30 series) its corrupting the vbios

I have a GeForce RTX 3070 Ti and have not had any issues with this new hotfix yet.... thankfully...

I'm with 572.70 and no issues with my RTX 3060 Ti.
No need for any Hot fix for my machines. 🤞🤷‍♂️

I tested that too and it worked.
I reverted to 572.70 because I did not have any of the issues addressed by the Hot Fix. 🤞🤷‍♂️

I have both RTX 3060 and RTX 2060 on different desktops. No problems here with driver 572.70.
I'll stay with that till next official update. 🤷‍♂️

only issue I have noticed is my wallpaper background disappears after the update is completed..
so I manually have to change it to get it back.
same for the last few updates...
