Speaking of experiences, I did something stupid and returned unexpectedly to 23H2...
Back in October, I wanted to backup my then 23H2 installation before upgrading my main PC (2nd system specs) to 24H2, because I had read a lot of issues and I wanted to be able to return to 23H2 if anything went wrong. I also thought it was the perfect opportunity to upgrade my then 480GB SSD to 1TB SSD. So I bought a WD Blue SA510 1TB SSD to clone my 23H2 installation and then upgrade that to 24H2. Recently my PC after a lot of gaming and other use would occasionally start being slow and eventually hang. Last weekend it hang and after pressing WIN+CTRL+SHIFT+B several times in an attempt to recover, it eventually gave me a black screen, so I turned it off from the PSU switch and back on. I know this is too risky, but I had done it a couple of times, so I did it again. This last time it was fatal. My 1TB SSD died and is not detected by the system, not even in BIOS! Drat! I just put my 480GB SSD back and I will return it to -hopefully- be replaced under Warranty. This was three months back! I had to update almost all applications and install a lot of Windows Updates. Thankfully, I had backup of most of my data, so I didn't lose anything important... Of course it makes no sense to upgrade this SSD to 24H2, I will wait for my replacement, clone again and upgrade it on 1TB.
This is to see that even us experts do stupid things sometimes. Fortunately we know how to recover...
