in the screen Select location to install Windows 11, it shows several partitions. How do I get correctly rid of the unnecessary partitions?

It’s all relevent, but the bottom line is, you just follow the prompts. it’s as easy as could be.

But again, resetting your PC from within Windows basically does the same thing.

It’s always best to unplug or remove and secondary drives, and it’s a good practice to remove partitions off C before install. I didn’t realise you were about to start.

As long as you selected the correct drive, Windows (used to) remove all partitions. Hopefully still does.
We get a screenshot of Disk management once you’re in Windows to check.

I believe you selected the correct partition, hopefully it will remove all others

The other option is to use Diskpart to clean the drive before the install starts

Here is a post I made for someone else regarding cleaning the partitions (Disk 0 in your case)

Diskpart needs to be run when the window I posted the screenshot of appears. (In that post)

Windows wont take long to install. Let it complete, when in Windows, open Disk Management (right click on start menu button), show us a photo or screenshot, you should only have 4 partitions after install.
