    The five 8TB drives and three 512GB SSDs are part of a DrivePool using StableBit DrivePool software. The three SSDs are devoted purely to caching for the 8TB drives. All of the important data is stored in triplicate so that I can withstand simultaneous failure of 2 disks.

just downloaded the 27802.1000 iso from uupdump. installed and ctrl+shift+esc worked to open task manager and i launched tabtip via run new task... and cmd launched too. my point was to test tabtip to show it launches and will run keystrokes osk wont.

also just to add to your method... you dont have to shut it down. i did a fresh install a second time and merely put it to sleep via the keyboard button to do so and after sleep all key combos worked.

Ctrl + Shift + Esc did not work either on my desktops. 🤷‍♂️

I'll keep the sleep option in mind next time I try and have the problem. 😂 On my Dell Keyboard the sleep button is Fn + F1. We'll see if that works. 😎
I hope MS fixes this annoyance on next build.

Edit:
I tried the Sleep button Fn +F1 on my Dell desktop when the Shift + F10 was not working during OOBE setup with 27802.1000, it just ended up powering off the PC and had to power it back up.
Same results as using the power button off and back on. 🤣🤷‍♂️

Since you can open Task Manager, you can Run new task and type oobe\bypassnro there, nothing more needed.

if you just tap the button it shouldn't shut down your pc. dunno what to tell ya. i guess if only one thing works for your pc thats what it is

As I said earlier, on this keyboard is not a single button, I have to use Fn + F1. It works perfectly fine on a live windows system and it goes to sleep, but during OOBE setup it just powers the PC off. 🤷‍♂️ (Dell XPS 8940 and Dell XPS 8930 desktops behave the same way)
We'll see if they fix this silly problem on the next official MS Canary ISO. Never had this problem before with any other Windows 11 Builds.
For now, I'm fine with the simplest workaround, no need for any extra complication. 🤣🤷‍♂️

Since there are not all system drivers installed at OOBE stage, sleep is not enabled. So pressing the power button shutdowns the computer. Sleep is only activated when all system drivers are installed.

probably has something to do with it as i tested on a laptop. don't know, but like you've stated doesn't matter. another iso will be out in a week or two. i saw your posts on Microsoft threads too so they're already tracking. they won't remove the functionality or people will really start modifying images and they really don't like that.

Yes, hopefully it was just an unintentional added bug, and they will not remove the option of installing offline, without internet connection. 🤞

If standby works, then most if not all drivers are already installed. Certainly all the system device drivers. After you create an account and you are on the desktop Windows Update will update them if there is any newer version. At this point I prefer to manually update the drivers from manufacturer for best compatibility and performance. Especially the chipset and graphics drivers which are the most important. I don't trust Windows Update.
