Chrome collects far more information than Edge does and also uses more resources and imbeds all kinds of services, startup items, and scheduled tasks. Again, far more than Edge. I even use Edge on my Motorola phone which of course is Android.

Issue with download program no longer showing is still not fixed, even in the latest Canary build. Reported in December, and a simple fix still not done.

I miss a setting to let Edge launch with an InPrivate window. If I did not overlook something, it would be a nice little feature to have. Saves me to open one window and close the other one.

Open the Properties dialog of the Edge shortcut and add -inprivate to the Target (that would be: space/hyphen/inprivate)

Right click again on the Microsoft Edge entry.

Just to Note:
When you amend the Target in that shortcut, it will only work from that shortcut.
