my laptop HP pavilion 15 dk0042tx suddenly cant turn on after windows update. To make it on, i unplug n replug the battery and then it is finally on, but the next problem is my dgpu nvidia gtx 1650 isnt detected in device manager. I checked that the PCIe x.16 has yellow exclamation mark and has error code 10 "this device cannot start", i tried to update driver etc but still not working, i tried to uninstall n reinstall nvidia driver still not working too and has error hardware not compatible, i checked BIOS that "discrete graphic output protocol n/a", idk why this is happen, i asked intel, HP, and Nvidia and still not solving the problem. Please help, i feel so desperate, it is already 6 months.

If you're truly desperate, I suppose that you've tried a clean installation of Windows 11. (May be a little tricky on a dual graphics laptop, like yours.)

If that didn't help, you may have a hardware issue.

6 months old? Most new products have at least a year warranty, get the warranty involved, either fix or replace.

It seems this is a power saving issue. MS is going quite aggressive with this. On Asus laptops, this can be solved by downloading Armory Crate and then going to power config in the app and fiddle back and forth with the power settings. Then the dGPU suddenly reappears in a working state.

I am not sure what tool HP has for this, but if there is any, it is worth a try to fiddle with the power settings.

In Windows 11 I've had a bunch of issues caused by this agressive Win11 power management system. USB ports and WiFi cards die and won't get back online until a full reboot or opening another OS. Lately for me at least all has been working nicely.
