I wont use it , its much too buggy.
Changing the color from light-grey to blue in the selected items ( by mouse) in the contextmenus , did not work also .
btw ; still did not found a solution ..............

Hi same problem:
Battery & Network Flyout does not appear with Windows 10 Taskbar Style.
After I installed Windows 11 22H2 the Windows 10 start menu did not work. I corrected it by uninstalling and re-installing ExplorerPatcher.
But the battery flyout still does not work and is very irritating to use windows 11 lousy settings to change power mode.
I would be very appreciative if a solution is found. I will roll back to 22H1 for now.

StartAllBack will give you a color in selected contextmenus ! ( tested, works fine ; from light-grey to light-blue )

anyone had explorer crash with right click on tray app icons like stremio and boost speed?

" stremio ".? never heard off .
I used " Start All Back " , only used the contextmenu -options , gave me a wonderfull contextmenu again , with the colored items in it ( selected items by mouse , only ).
You can even change color in it ! :wink:

i try them all but something always not working or dont like.. hehe yeap i know.... stremio its an app for movies... that you should try

Sorry if this has been asked again, I didn't have the time to read all the posts in this thread. Recently I upgraded my unsupported computer (see my 2nd system specs) from version 21H2 build 22000.1042 to version 22H2. I use Customizer God to replace the default system icons, including those of network and sound, but I also use Explorer Patcher to ungroup them. If the network and sound icons are grouped, as is default for Windows 11, any customizations are ignored and I see the original icons instead. With the icons ungrouped I see my custom icons, taken from Windows 8.1 I noticed a bug. If I click on the network icon to select a wireless network or toggle flight mode, it tries for several seconds with an empty list and then fails. Any click on the network icon again does nothing. If I switch to Windows 11 mode and group the icons, the network icon works as expected. Switching to Windows 10 mode again with ungrouped icons, the network icon doesn't work. Anyone seen the same bug? Is there any solution, or I should wait for the next Explorer Patcher update to fix it?

I have released ExplorerPatcher version 22621.608.51.1 which fixes the network and battery flyouts not working on 22H2 builds. Sorry for the delay, I have been quite busy lately with some other work. I checked it out at a basic level on both 22000.1042 and 22621.608 and it seemed to work fine. It's been promoted to release status already, as the changes are punctual and rather minor, no prior functionality should be affected.

* Fixed a bug that could prevent the Windows 10 network or battery flyouts from showing on OS build 22000.
* Fixed the Windows 10 network and battery flyouts on OS build 22621.
* Weather: Fixed a bug that displayed the widget contents with incorrect left padding.

Please note: when you update to this version, the update notification will show 22622.608.51.1 as being available instead of 22621.608.51.1. This is expected, as I decided to have ExplorerPatcher use 22621 as the major build number as that is the OS version it is tested against, so it made much more sense to keep the two in sync. Unfortunately, I cannot retroactively update code that you already have running on your machine, so a bit of trickery was necessary to get you updated to a newer version with an older build number (the updater, by default, doesn't "upgrade" you to versions having a build number that's lower than what you have installed). The single side effect is that, when you upgrade, you see the wrong build number for the new version. After upgrading, future versions will be displayed as 22621..., until and if I ever decide to bump it up to 22622 again. This is just a cosmetic nuissance - there is no new 22622.608.51.1 version; 22621.608.51.1 is the latest version which contains the latest fixes and enhancements for both OS builds 22621.608 and 22000.1042.

still having explorer crashes on windows 11 taskbar at tray icon right click... not all, but for example at stremio, boost speed apps...
plus may we have the oprion to keep the stock right lick at taskbar?

Maybe Stremio was affected by Explorer Patcher. Have you tried to uninstall Stremio, restart and reinstall it?

I upgraded Explorer Patcher, now the network flyout works OK. I noticed that instead of the familiar icons there are labels such as Flight mode. Is that normal? Can I restore the icons instead?

Microsoft indeed seems to have broken the toggles... I don't know of any solution, yet. At least the rest of the functionality is still there.

To be honest, it amazes me how fragile everything is. I don't see what is the point of keeping and guarding this stuff out with a million checks for a select few Windows editions that presumably still use the Windows 10 shell (for example, Windows 11 for Surface Hub), yet when it comes to having the guards bypassed and the things enabled, they are actually half broken in reality...

It looks fine here (Windows 11 build 22000.1042 and ExplorerPatcher latest version). I mean, even the network icon's tooltip sneaks correctly behind it to remind that Microsoft are sneaky. lol

Yeah, on 22000-based builds it works fine, indeed. 22621-based builds are problematic:

Tooltips show behind because the flyouts are displayed ina superior [band](https://blog.adeltax.com/window-z-order-in-windows-10/) as opposed to the desktop, which is in the lowest band. Things in a superior band show in front of things in a lower band, regardless of whether the window is set on top etc. Non-Microsoft signed apps are restricted from creating windows or setting window bands in bands other than the lowest one, the desktop band. That's why this behavior happens. Same reason why "Safe to Remove" pop-up shows behind notifications regarding a device being plugged in: explorer runs in the desktop band, and the system tray icons are hosted by explorer (that's how ExplorerPatcher messes with them).
