To make sure that I understand, this is what I think the thread states:
The new NVME drive fits in the mini PC. That means that the M.2 slot has an M key ("notch", for some), and only an M key, which means that it supports NVME drives. I also understand that the drive is functioning.
(That doesn't guarantee that it would support SATA drives, but as the old drive is SATA...)
The old SATA M.2 drive appears to be dead. (The OP could mess with it further, but I wouldn't do it unless there is data on it to be recovered.)
Is any of that incorrect?
