Your key was an old subscription that is already in you account mate?
They’ve probably tied the 6 different accounts I have signed up with to one IP address lol

I am having trouble with Stack Social and have to wait for them to reply my support ticket. But as Mama Glass commented, it is a pointless adventure me thinks.

I find this suspect when I read it. Remembering this says “Lifetime License” but history shows, these keys can be revoked on a new install, at random.

I've been using a $29 version for 2½ years, that's a 16th of the price of a 365 subscription!!!
If they revoke it, I'll fire up another, I have many!
I gave my kids a couple, they're still working!

But thats in your account. As glasskutter shows, the stack social keys only apply to the PC not the account.

I have two copies of Office 2019 Pro Plus and one of Office 2021 Pro Plus.

If I log into my Microsoft account and look under Services and subscriptions I only see the download link for Office 2021 Pro Plus.

I download Office 2019 Pro Plus a different way. Here are the steps I take:
  1. Please open this link: Setup Microsoft 365
  2. Sign in your Microsoft account and click ’Next’ (If you don’t have, please create one).
  3. Enter the key you purchased. Choose your country and language you want then click ‘Next’.
  4. You can now download your Office setup program.
I just went through these steps again and here is what I get:

I don't understand the problem. When I go to the website "setup.office.com". I have to log in with the same Microsoft account I initially used when I first bought Office 2019. In that sense it is still connected to my Microsoft username and password.

Note that to log into my Microsoft account I go to the website:

account.microsoft.com account.microsoft.com

After I log in with my Microsoft username and password the only product I see is Office 2021.

That’s how I know it to be.

I don’t know why stack social state differently on their page. And I am still waiting for a reply from my support ticket so I can buy a key to test it.

I typed in the M$oft account that I entered when I purchased the key from Stack Social.

As far as I can tell, my Office 2019 installation is activated.

You entered it into your Microsoft Account?
Or you entered your Microsoft Account when you installed Office?
