Black Friday came early at Best Buy and bought these while there was still stock available and also a 30 Day lowest price guarantee so if the price is lower on Black Friday for the TV's they should match the price I paid which was $400 off for each TV.

Also the quality, resolution and features of the new TV are 10 times better than even my 2 year old Samsung 27" FHD 60Hz 8ms GTG VA LED Smart Monitor (LS27AM500NNXZA) and about 20 times better than the 8+ year old 50in Samsung TV I was also using but gave away instead as it was still working flawlessly.

It's still 3+ weeks until official Black Friday but some stores have already started multi week sales like Staples in my area and others will have multi week sales also.

Indeed. Best Buy has a history of starting Black Friday deals very early. In 2021, I bought my LG C1 55" LED TV in the first week of November due to it being on sale through their Black Friday deals.

Other larger retailers have been following suit as well.

The 4090 cards are big bucks almost 3 grand in CanadaLand :zany: while the 4070 Ti is around $1000+ here, hopefully Catnip will find a good deal before Black Friday or during Boxing Week sales after XMAS.

I have been kind of waiting for the new Nvidia 5000 series. I am hoping it will drive down the cost of the 4000 series. The cheapest I can find a 4070 Ti Super is around $1050 in CanadaLand dollars, and the 4080 Super is about $1350. I am hoping that I can get a 4070 for about $800 or the 4080 for under $1000 on Black Friday. If that doesn't work, I will wait for the 5000 series and the inevitable price drop on the 4000 series. The problem with that is getting a 4000 series card at a decent price before the stock all goes away.

@Dru2 I can usually buy whatever I want. That doesn't mean that I will live happily when I get it home, but I can still buy it. With large purchases I usually worry more about the grief I am going to get vs price. I still look for bargains though.

@Catnip I got the 3070 Ti listed in my System specs 2 for about $600 at Best Buy last summer before all of the old stock was gone which saved me about $400 - $500 over the current 4000 series.

I climbed up to the recommended furthest up (3 steps from the top)
Picked 6 ripe fruit, great view.
I was thinking about strapping it to the tree to prevent it from tipping, the feet are quite wide & seemed very stable.
