My soundbar came a day early. The sound is great. I used the optical cable instead of an HDMI cable because I'm using all three of my HDMI ports on the tv. With the optical cable the tv remote volume control doesn't work on the soundbar plus the tv doesn't show the volume level when I change the volume. When I get a chance, I'll buy a HDMI switch. When you get your soundbar you will need to download the Bose Music app.

The bass sounds good even though I didn't get a chance to try different settings. I was being rushed. Tomorrow when my wife isn't trying to watch her tv shows and telling me to hurry up I'll try again.

Thats exactly how I setup mine.
I used my iPad to DL & install the Bose Music App. & adjusted the base, treble & another (don't remember what it was). I cannot play the music I have on the PC as Bose speakers uses the router WiFi, not the PC Bluetooth as far as I can tell. It appears one will need to use the music supplied by various web music (prime audio, etc.)

Edit: A more complete User Guide, not the weak one that comes w/ the speaker

Edit 2: It appears to me that my Bose 300 speaker is 30 feet away from the Bluetooth PC & I'm probably SOL on playing my music thru the Bose 300 speakers in the living room.

If the signal is < 4k, it upscales, but there are many 4k streaming services, amazon, HBOmax, Disney, etc. Not traditional broadcast channels though. Also you get HDR, which give you a greater depth of color and tonality, and better audio.

I used my iPad to DL & install the Bose Music App. & adjusted the base, treble & another (don't remember what it was). I cannot play the music I have on the PC as Bose speakers uses the router WiFi, not the PC Bluetooth as far as I can tell. It appears one will need to use the music supplied by various web music (prime audio, etc.)

Edit: A more complete User Guide, not the weak one that comes w/ the speaker

Edit 2: It appears to me that my Bose 300 speaker is 30 feet away from the Bluetooth PC & I'm probably SOL on playing my music thru the Bose 300 speakers in the living room.

I haven't had a chance to try it yet but when I setup the soundbar I added my Sirius XM account and my Spotify account.

My soundbar is now setup and is working the way I want. I tried setting up my system using the HDMI ARC port instead of the optical port. I was one HDMI port short, so I bought a HDMI switch from Walmart. With this setup If I wanted to use my Roku box or Blu-ray player, I had to use the tv remote to switch to the correct input on my tv plus change the output on the switch. If I plugged my Roku box or Blu-ray player directly into the tv it worked. The problem turned out to be the switch box from Walmart. I think it had to do with the switch not having the CEC function. I ordered a HDMI switch box from Amazon and now When I turn on my Roku box or Blu-ray player the tv and the switch automatically changes to the correct input on the switch and tv, so I don't even need to use the remote that came with the HDMI switch. If anyone is interested in a reasonably priced HDMI switch with a lot of features, I recommend the Biground 4K UHD HDMI switch. It only cost me $22.77 plus tax on Amazon.
