@Dru2 forgot to say all my photography nowadays is out doors and mostly wildlife and nature

I say invest in what you want and need and not worry about what others think. I have what I have because I've been doing it awhile.

Anyway, I use both Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop to process my images as I only shoot in RAW. I use Lightroom to process my RAW files, and Photoshop to put the finishing touch on things.

There are a lot of versions of photoshop about, I was lucky and got the full professional one as when out internet company closed I took it with me before it was dumped

The version I'm talking about is the subscription version where you always have the latest updates. Yeah, I know the vitriolic "I ain't paying for a subscription" mantra, but my response is simple... "that's you. I'm me". Not saying that's you, I'm just making a general statement, cause I know when "Adobe subscription" comes up, well...

Anyway, I've been "officially" using Photoshop since version 7.0 but had versions 5.5 and 6.0. My first official foray into Lightroom was 4.

Mirrorless cam webcam UPDATE:

The Fuji X-T200 webcam project went better than I expected. I thought that I would need a video capture card which I already have. But it turns out that the X-T200 has a built-in webcam feature and the battery compartment has a notch for the DC coupler cable. Almost done but I am still waiting for a coiled USB cable.

I was just telling you what version I use, I am not a great lover of subscriptions, I would rather pay a one of fee, Yours is obviously a good version of PS only so many people have a stripped down freebie or cheapie and think they got the full version. If you pay you get the best as you have and I agree. Also though I use several different programs for different things for basic cropping and cloning the very old version of PSP 7 takes some beating IMO

I used to take a lot of macros years back with my entry level gear.

I even tried a poor man's macro (reverse lens) at some point using a Nikon BR-2A macro adapter ring until I got a Nikon 40mm Macro lens.

Nice pics, I did a lot with my film camera which in the early days was a Pentax MX manual setup and spacers between the lens, you can actuly get great results it is the convenience we pay for. It doesn't matter how much you equipment costs you still need the skill and knowledge to make it work well

OOhh, I remember I also tried those extension tubes but I stopped doing it because it is prone to getting dirt into your mirror or back of lens if your are not careful about it. Screwing those tubes in and out somehow gives off some tiny metal debris. Maybe because I got cheap ones but I stopped using them anyway.

@badrobot, I don't do macro or insect work. I mostly do still, landscape, nature, and creative work. I used to do wedding photography, but gave it up as I got bored with it (that's me). Anyway, here's some of my work on my site. I've got some other stuff I need to upload later this month after I tweak the site again.

Here's hoping it will mow my entire lawn on just the two batteries. If not, there are slots for two additional batteries to double your mow time. I will just get those.

I bought the Greenworks 40V 21" self-Propelled mower from Amazon back in April and I really like it. I also purchased a Hart 40V string trimmer from Walmarts. I spent the extra and bought the one that I can buy attachments for. It is so nice to be able to just unlock and squeeze the trigger.

I use a plastic scrapper to get as much grass off the bottom as possible. Then I use the hose making sure I don't get any water on the motor. I did buy two more batteries and an extra battery charger. I decided to go with a set of 40V 6.0Ah batteries for $60.00 a piece. Even though they were something like half price compared to others I haven't had any problems with them. I'm hoping they last as long or longer then the two batteries that came with the mower. I don't know about your mower, but my mower runs on one battery at a time. It also doesn't slow down as the batteries run down. It runs until it stops.

The spray oil does sound like a good idea. I'm sure the bearings are sealed but the oil should help prevent the deck from rusting out.

If I'm having a problem and I get to talk to an actual person I have no problem burning their ears until I get to somebody that can help. I don't always get what I want but when I'm done with them, they are ready for a strong drink or two.

I've made a few online purchases in the past few months. My latest purchase from Amazon was wireless security cameras. I bought the Blink video doorbell camera, the 5 Blink outdoor wireless camera kit and an echo show. They arrived this afternoon. I'm going to try and get them installed later this week if nothing comes up.
