Depending on what app I used I had trouble getting the correct aspect ratio. VLC worked the best. Then I noticed that the videos started freezing. I don't know if it was a buffering problem or not. I didn't get any buffering messages. Yesterday I decided to order the Fire TV Cube. It arrived around 7:00 last night. I have 3 firesticks and never had a freezing issue. I use them to make use of my monitor as a standalone video streaming device and one for my projector.

I didn't have a problem streaming content from the internet. Amazon Prime for example. It was when I tried to stream from my Mini-PC. I did some Bing watching last night with the Cube and not even a hiccup. The main reason I wanted the Firestick was I wanted to make it easier for my wife to access the Blink cameras when she is home by herself.

But whatever streaming you are doing, can't the Firestick do it by itself without a mini-PC? The Firestick is essentially a streaming device.

My videos are on a 4 TB USB HDD drive connected to the Mini-PC that is running Mezzmo. I also stream to a Roku TV and a Roku Soundbar. The Cube is working just as good as the Roku Box it replaced. Plus, my wife can check the Blink cameras on the TV and not have to go to the room where I setup the Echo Show.

As for the blink camera, you can directly access it from Firestick without streaming from your PC.

With the Cube we can use the built-in mic or the voice remote to access Alexa.

I have been playing with the Cube and I have to admit that I'm really getting into what I can do with Alexa. Do you know if there is an advantage of using the HDMI eARC instead of an HDMI port?

Ordered one of these on Prime day. The price seems to be the same as on Western Digital's site (although that probably has postage & packing added), but I got £5 off as a 'personal discount'. I installed it yesterday, and benchmarks show a doubling of disk speed in Performance Test. (Because it is PCIe 4, compared with my previous PCIe 3 Samsung Evo NVMe.) It only seems to run 3 deg C hotter too, although I haven't really pushed it yet.

ARC has it's advantages due to control capabilities and bandwidth. It also comes with the bandwidth to use some version of Dolby TrueHD, DTS:X - and Dolby Atmos. Limited to 5.1. ARCe adds to that with much higher bandwidth allowing the full versions of those audio formats, and more specifically full bitrate Dolby Atmos. ARCe requires HDMI 2.1. You do need real high-speed cables that have Ethernet support

Yeah, those cards require brackets as they're too heavy for the motherboards.

I got this for my wife:

She's getting her aerospace engineering master's degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and would like one for her designs. I researched it outside of Amazon and saw that it's a quality 3D printer. It's not the largest, but it's a start. Plus, we have a really small house with limited room to store things.

That is kind is kind of small. She will be too limited on what she can do with it.
I got one with 13"x13" bed.
It is not a high end one but so far, no issues with it. I was able to print out of the box without playing around with settings.

To be honest, I was looking for something a little larger, but I got that one because it's wi-fi. She has zero space in her work area to put it, so the printer had to be wifi.

Wifi?
To be honest, I don't see how wifi can be advantageous in terms of space.
My 3D printer is not connected to my PC. As you can see, it is in the far corner. All sliced files and Gcodes are saved in an SD card. I just insert the SD card into the printer for printing. I never had my 3D printer connected to my PC. I can put it anywhere.
The gcodes are very small files. I only use 2GB sd cards.
