After some time, discovering the new laptops characteristics, I bought an SSD upgrade for the HP OMEN 16-k0360ND laptop, a SAMSUNG 2TB SSD. Just for the games.

And also a 34" iiyama Gaming monitor as a replacement for the old OMEN 32. The reason is not the monitor size and resolution, they are just fine, but the higher refresh rate of the new one is a bit more relaxed for the eyes when Gaming or working for a longer time behind the PC.

Bought a TomTom Go Discover for my newly passed driver daughter. It's a nice GPS but had issues setting up WiFi. I could connect to the router but not to the net. Tried all sorts but it kept failing. Eventually found out that I had to get Satellite signal outside but near enough to the router signal and then it magically connected???? :weary: Why TomTom why????

My new desk lamp came late last night. It's tall enough that I could put it behind my monitor. The color and brightness controls are really a nice feature. Way better than the cheap Walmart lamp I had. My soundbar is now listed as being delivered tomorrow.

I have three Garmins. Two of them are now dust collectors and the third one I use on my motorcycle when I want to explore new areas. When I'm in my Explorer or Ram truck I use Google Maps on my phone that is connected to the radio thru Bluetooth. I don't remember if I needed the Wi-Fi and Satellite signal when I first them up. The one I use on my motorcycle has lifetime map updates.

My NYLAVEE soundbar came today. I have to admit that I'm very impressed with the sound output. I'm giving it a 10 out of 10. My monitor has three legs and the soundbar fits perfectly on the front two legs. I have a little more space on my desk and as a bonus, with the right speaker gone, it's a little easier to reach behind my main monitor to access the joystick contoller so I can turn off the monitor.

My AC Linksys router crapped out so got an Asus AX RT-82U router. Lots more controls, better security, better range, better speed (esp with AX nics), mesh capable. Works much better than the Linksys so far and long overdue. Hope it lasts and is trouble free.

Another one of these Asus AX-82u wireless routers to deploy in a mesh to get some better reception in other rooms. Will use a wireless back-haul inititally but plan to run an Ethernet cable for 1Gb Ethernet back-haul. Price is right, dropped $50

I've always wanted to try the Anker PowerConf webcam because of its good reviews. I like the simplicity of Elgato Wave series mic. And I needed a second long range bluetooth transmitter.

I 100% agree with you! I'm a Braves fan, and I'm so glad we kicked their butt in 2021! LOL The only reason i'm ordering this DVD is because I have all of them since 1988 (1988-2000 are VHS) 2001-Present are DVDs

Got it today.

Using the 5GHz wireless channel as a back-haul between the routers is working better than I expected., so I can leave it at that for now since we only currently get 350 Mb/s download from the ISP. Whole house can get a good 5 GHz Wifi 6 160 MHz signal now. When we eventually get fiber to the house, it may need a 1Gb Ethernet wired back-haul.

Was easy to setup, basically plugged it in, had the main router find it (and automatically download the same configuration to it), and updated the firmware to get the two routers on parity.

So far really happy!
