    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October 2021 it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Being a 32 bit app psp7 is not 'large address aware' and is limited to using 2GB of physical memory.

Thanks, I find it the most useful in Animation Shop, making anim.exe LAA means I can now optimze far longer animated Gif's .

Agreed. Every now and then when I choose "higher quality", when saving an animation... it claims to run out of memory.

I've been using PSP 4.12 since 1998, I think, it became my default go-to app for fast editing and won't replace it for nothing else. Ofc, I use modern versions as well when I need to do serious graphical works... Anyways, the reason I'm posting this, is because recently I've found out that there was another version of "classic" PSP - v4.15. I'm going to upload it, in case some else needs it. It doesn't require an install and works just fine under Win11.

Yes, my PSP 7.04 still does all I need - and still runs in the latest Insider Canary build of W11 24H2.

You may find my post #23 useful. You can make PSP7 and Animation Shop 'large address aware', meaning you can work with larger files and not run out of memory.

Hi Guys, I saw the comment re PSP 7 (10th Anniversary Edition) not working with Windows 11 and the links by Ghot, which seem to no longer function. This is also an old thread. But are there any work arounds for me to run mu PSP 7 (10th Anniversary Edition) disk and load a functioning version on my Win 11 PC please? I really miss having it and whilst a new version is not excessively expensive, I object to having to buy the program Twice! Many thanks...

I wonder what happened with new versions of Corel PaintShop Pro since it became Alludo. :think:

They even shut down the Corel support forum and haven't released another version since.
