I found Macrium Reflect hard to use when it did not load a driver for my touchpad. Luckily, a Bluetooth mouse with its own dongle worked. I find now that MR does normally load all the necessary drivers. But I also have a corded mouse, just in case because, although I am skilled at navigating any GUI with just the keyboard, there were some functions in MR that were completelty unreachable and they were not keen to help when I asked.

I'm curious what you found in Macrium Reflect that were unreachable. Like you, I use laptops, and I've used only laptops for the past 25 years. I gave my last mouse away several years ago and for me keyboard and touchpad are much faster and intuitive than reaching for a mouse.

It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update, and 24H2 on 3rd October 2024 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 24H2.

Well done.

If "Johnboy1958" can't come up with a spare jumper to clear the CMOS, it can also be done by removing power form the motherboard, and removing the CMOS battery for a while. (I'm not sure how long. 10 minutes, maybe?)

Some MBs have a "Clear CMOS" button. This one apparently does not.

@johnboy1958

Why can't you answer our questions? It's both lazy and annoying. If members ask you for the make and model of your motherboard, it is so then can offer specific advice, such as how to reset the BIOS. But you just come back and ask does it matter. Please remember that we don't work for Microsoft and are trying to help you in our own tiwho knocked your pint over:( I know you're not pro's, but I think you are very rude !!!!
