I think that only goes for the "New" tag, and unfortunately, it (as well as the "System" label) seems it can only be removed after installing a program, anyway (at least the "New" tags can be removed by right-clicking the apps that have it).

Yeah, but Open-Shell not only gives the option to eliminate the need to right-click the apps that have the highlight, but also it gives the option to use a Start Menu that doesn't have that other annoyance that you mentioned. As a matter of fact I find that the Windows 11 Start Menu functionally resembles a smartphone. To be more specific, I think it functionally behaves like the kind of smartphone that isn't very smart in any way, shape or form. Had I been an Apple fanboy, maybe it could work.

It's gone in 23H2 22631.2715. I think this was noticed and reported here on the last Patch Tuesday.

I thought it was (automatic) in mine, and I think that @Ghot found that it was (auto) in his, so I was suggesting that you use the VT because your update didn't remove them. Maybe I used the VT and I've just forgotten.

I no longer have it. I guess 22631.2715 doesn't have it.

All good. I was only responding that I still had it - not that I wanted it gone.

Yes, I am. Why don't EU users have this tag? Anyway, I guess the "new" tag should've been removed too.

Also, I new it's OT, but now Remote Desktop Connection appears in Installed apps. Is it possible to remove the Get started app and Windows Backup? NTLite can remove them but it breaks some things like Windows Search if removing them individually or one after the other and when removing the latter, it removes other components alongside it.
