You're persistent, at least. But with 40+ years as a Computer Tech, I'm not that patient.
Before now I would have done a Clean Install, with a known good version of Windows 11, Pro, 24h2. That is, after backing up all your data files to an external HD or Flash Drive. I might even do the Clean Install to a new SSD.

There is obviously some bad code somewhere in your OS, and repeatedly checking the hardware is not going to fix it.
"Sorry Charlie, you're barking up the wrong tree."

Me too - 50+ years. I’ve done 2 different clean installs of Win 11 (Home). 2nd clean install to a different boot drive.

@TechnoMage2021 - following up my brief previous reply (sent from my phone) with a bit more detail on why I'm so persistent. The computer in question is home built. It was rock solid with no failures for over 2 years. When I upgraded from Win 10 Home to Win 11 Home in Nov of 2023, I began having BSODs every 2-4 days. Since that time, I have: 1) run multiple memory, CPU and GPU tests with no failures; 2) done 2 clean installs the 2nd one to a newly installed, different SSD 3) swapped all components except the case, CPU and the hard-drives/SSDs used for my user data; 4) done extensive work to ensure all drivers & BIOS are up to date (MSI BIOS is currently 1 level back as the current bios was causing strange boot issues); 5) removed apps/drivers that I can run on my surface instead. The BSODs are generally less frequent but no clear common cause has surfaced. I came to this forum in hopes that folks who are more adept at reading Windows dumps / diagnostic data than me might see something I've missed. This is not a gaming computer - I use it for music mixing/playback (Audacity) and for photo processing (Lightroom). Other than that, word processing, spreadsheets and browsing. No unusual drivers (I even moved my guitar pedal board app to my Surface just to eliminate that variable).

I agree that continuing to pursue hardware seems like a false lead but short of completely replacing this system, I'm out of ideas since the 2 clean installs and changing the boot SSD did not apparently fix whatever is causing the issue.

1) If possible temporarily remove any / all Logitech hardware.

2) Please uninstall or uninstall and reinstall:

@zbook - good suggestion. logi_lamparray.sys popped up on my radar several weeks back but I was already in the midst of testing by removing various HW components & apps then lost track of lamparray.

There is no device listed in device manager that uses logi_lamparray.sys - even though I don't have any lighting systems, there IS a service running that I have stopped and disabled as well as removing the service (sc delete logi_lamparray_service) however, the driver file is still in the driverstore folder and verifier still lists the drivers. The only way I can find to actually delete the driver is to change ownership from SYSTEM. I'm still researching before I do that.

Any thoughts or input as I continue this appreciated.

@zbook - update...
  • I researched logi_lamparray.sys - it is part of the dynamic lighting capability provided by Windows 11. Apparently, if Windows see a logitech device installed, Windows installs the logitech lamparray service. I have a logitech brio camera (installed since before BSODs started with Win 11 upgrade) and a recent addition of a logitech G 305 wireless mouse but I don't have or use any dynamic lighting devices I disconnected both the webcam and mouse prior to running the most recent test.
  • Since I don't use / have any dynamic lighting devices, I stopped and disabled the service then deleted the service. From what I read, MS may decide to reinstall the service if it sees any logitech devices - not quite certain yet.
  • There were and are no devices in device manager using the logi_lamparray.sys driver. I changed ownership for the driver file from SYSTEM to my userid but I am still prompted with a permission error when I try deleting or renaming the driver file.
  • When booting after setting up verifier, I get the BSOD citing driver verification error for logi_lamparray.sys - I had to restore to previous checkpoint. I presume the BSOD is because verifier is doing a test on the driver at boot time since logi lamparray is in the selected driver list. My impression is that it doesn't make sense to run verifier without the logi lamparray driver selected but if you would like to see the results of such a test, let me know.
  • Until I figure out what to do next, I have turned off dynamic lighting in my Windows settings and will monitor to see if the service gets reinstalled / started by Windows.
I'm not sure if there is any value in looking at logs or dumps for this test but I ran both tools and stored the files on google drive here:
tuneuplog Tuneup (3).log
v2log FRANKENPUTER-(2024-09-21_10-52-30).zip
Thanks for any other guidance you may have

@zbook - I see where you're going with this. The queries told me that logi_lamparray.sys was affiliated with the Lightspeed Receiver (wireless) for my G 305 mouse. While the mouse if a recent acquisition (far newer than all the BSODs), I've uninstalled the device and the driver. Verifier is running as previously suggested (logi_lamparray.sys is no longer in the verifier list as it's uninstalled).
Will keep you apprised as to what happens next. Let me know if you have any thoughts based on this result. Hopefully, the test won't have to run long as verifier has a significant performance impact on my system.
Thanks and good catch!

See below. FYI - I experienced another DPC WATCHDOG VIOLATION while running Audcaity (but not running verifier due to performance impact). I am disregarding that BSOD since it happened before I turned on verifier. I plan to run this test 48 hours then run another test for MS drivers (unless you have a different suggestion).
Thanks again
