My Surfacebook3 camera is working for Windows Hello and front and back camera for taking photos. However the 'take photo' button does not work either by tough pad or finger. I'm thinking that uninstalling and reinstalling the camera and software might fix the problem. How can I do that?

For what? There are no errors flagged. Trouble shooter reports all okay. Cameras reset to default. Still take photo button does not work.

If you're referring to the camera app, then you "repair install" using the following command from an elevated Powershell window:

Code:
Get-AppxPackage -allusers *camera* | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}
