As others have mentioned... don't play around with Services.
But if you insist on experimenting like this... make sure you have a current backup.
After Windows 7... there really hasn't been much you could do in Services, that would have any affect.
There might be 3-4 Services total, that can be disabled, and usually they are painfully obvious.
For an example on my computer... I can safely disable Bluetooth and Smart Card.
Even then I keep a text file or screen shot showing that I disabled it, for future reference.
Also, rather than "Disable" a Service... choose "Manual" instead.
When set to Manual the Service is NOT running, but IF the computer needs it for some reason,
the computer CAN turn it back ON.
This has the advantage of allowing you to lighten the load from Services, without the possibility of breaking anything.
Even then... keep backups if you intend to tweak or experiment.
