Hello folks. I am really hoping someone can help me here.
Problem: Computer blue screens while gaming randomly with no warning or other issues. Will be fine for days and others will struggle to boot for hours on end. Blue screen errors are most commonly CRITICAL PROCESS DIED and BAD SYSTEM CONFIG INFO and 0xc0000 errors. Recently got one error one time in event viewer showing the network adapter in my motherboard had a hardware IO error. l've noticed my PC will disconnect from the internet (Ethernet) before crashing, and will sometimes not crash. I just need to restart network adapter and everything works just fine again.
Completed troubleshooting: switched M.2 slots, performed all kinds of command prompts (DISM, sfc, chkdsk), ensured all windows and drivers updates have been completed, disconnected all unnecessary USBs, disconnected second monitor, installed windows over windows using USB installation media, used Malware Bytes to remove some PUPs, and troubleshooted as much of the event viewer as I could. Currently running Win 11 22H2, was previously on 23H2 before reinstalling windows. Updated bios from 20a to 21a after windows reinstall. Wanted to completely wipe drive and clean install windows, but Windows will not let me. Chkdsk cannot be completed without BSOD unless using media install USB go to repair menu command prompt and allow chkdsk to dismount drive. SFC is 50/50 on clean scan or finding issues. Seems to not find issues once booted but in repair menu finds issues. DISM seems to be usually ineffective showing no issues but I have seen it attempt repairs.
I really am at wits end and I am hoping there’s recourse for this issue because I don’t want to just throw parts and money at this thing. I have the money but that’s not the point. My PC shouldn’t be a brick because of this issue. If I should just take it to a professional, that’s an acceptable suggestion as well.
