Web Browsers not opening

What is the cause of from the desktop clicking on Firefox, CHrome, and Brave none would open. Screen flickers and goes back to desktop
I restore a image and all is fine now, but would like to know if it was some setting somewhere

If the location of your desktop folder is onedrive it could have been a lack of connection to onedrive or a temporary onedrive issue..

Did you try rebooting before restoring an image? It’s incredible how many people don’t try this first.
