If you're wanting to use this for syncing (as I do) I had no issues with adding my top most personal email address to Firefox since wanting to be more involved with add-ons and forums.

I use to use a dummy Outlook account that was just a random name, something like "0I812@outlook.com" I never ever actually logged into that account for any reason
Firefox doesn't send specific emails regarding syncing, not as far as I know and I have never received any. Unless I ask for a syncing report which I think is an option.

I have not once ever received spam from Firefox. In fact I don't believe I have ever received any email from them at all unless I got a forum reply.

I need another email to add to FF browser. My gmail account does not give notification of new mail on my Samsung Galaxy S22 phone.
I get notified of missed contact attempts using MEET, WHATSAPP, MESSENGER, Phone calls or SMS but not Gmail.
I have contacted Samsung Support & Google help without any fix. Hence my request, that I could use it to forward my Gmail to so as to be notified.

You can add another Gmail account to your Android phone, however, if you make the new one default, you'll bork all your synced Google data, apps, (paid or free), settings, etc., associated with the original account.

It should just sync again to the new address. The browser is the dominant not the email address as far as I know.
But then the OP is still back where they started. They want to get notifications which aren't working with Gmail. Simpler to just fix the notification issue with the current account?

Sorry I meant to add, as far as I know, the sync settings saved in your email account only come into play when you reinstall Firefox. This is to my understanding. Otherwise if you removed an add-on etc, it would be put back again with sync. But Edwin, I could be wrong.
