I have them both on my PC with no issues.
GOG usually features some older games that have been reworked to run under newer versions of Windows. It's nice to see some of my old favorites be able to be played again. They have newer games too.
Basically, it is the same as Steam, but the prices are a little cheaper and you can find older games.

I also use both GOG and Steam. Zero issues with both installed and running.
The Witcher series is one game particular to GOG, but can also be downloaded via Steam. Been a while but I believe if when you open The Witcher in Steam, it will ask / suggest you open in GOG.

IMO, the best thing about GOG is that you don't have to install a client, and GOG will store your games at their site, for you.

Anyone else still play GTAV?
Rockstar just forced people to install BattlEye and it is enabled in my settings but wont allow me to play online.
Rockstar says I can’t GTAV play online with Battleye installed, but that’s fine, I don’t use it. I play directly through the launcher
Contacting support is impossible these days, they seem to have disabled it somehow. Support pages send you in a loop to no end
