Obviously not, but, I honestly can not think of a time when I've needed to access or remember a password when I'm out and about!
I do have all my credentials written down in notebooks but, I rarely need to look at them.
I don't do banking or government stuff online and, my browsers or apps remember my passwords, 75% of which are throwaway credentials anyway.

So, do you think storing passwords in your browser is more secure than using LP? Genuine question.
Like you, my banking info is memorised and written nowhere. I'm also keen on 2FA for PayPal, Amazon, eBay etc.

Mmm, probably not but, I've never investigated it thoroughly!
Like I said, most of my credentials are of the throwaway type..., if something happens or, I get locked out of something, I'll cross that bridge when and if I get to it!

Edwin, you have got me thinking. I might download my vault and store it offline on a USB hard drive, encrypted, delete the vaults with LP & BD, and start over.
For the next visit to my favourite websites I will have reset my password. I will use BD to store these as I add to my new vault. If PW reset does not work, I have my backup.

As my email can be used to reset passwords, its own password needs to be very secure and preferably 2FA.

Sound like a plan?

Good start.

I use 2FA with hardware keys everywhere that allows it. If hardware keys are not implemented, I use whatever 2FA is offered.

I've now got a pair of Solo V2 keys, and a pair of the full Titan set, gen 1 and gen 2 (sent as a replacement. Gen 1 are the backups stored in a safe.

For Google Stuff, having a Pixel phone I use it as another device for 2FA with Advanced Protection on all my Google accounts. My Google accounts have a minimum of 7 physical keys now (including my current phone) at any given moment.

And I use the Microsoft Authenticator (on Android) for all the work stuff for the Enterprise account access, including having a second account as a true backup in case my main admin account gets screwed in some way.

There are still heaps of places that don't offer much in the way of 2FA, or if they do offer it, it's the weakest "SMS code" method implementation. A good list to check (that is usually updated pretty well) is 2FA Directory - they cover several of the implementations used for 2FA, and provide both the diff methods used as well as links to publicly ask any given site that has been added to the list to implement if nothing yet has been implemented.

And 1500 PWs? I thought I was bad with over 600 lol....

I have no assets apart from my wit, looks* and charm. Total value $235 so I doubt if I would be a target. But I am still careful.

By definition, anything stored online or on a device even if encrypted is insecure. Sure probability of such systems being cracked is extremely low but NEVER zero.

I've never used a password manager to be honest. I use a notebook to write them down, and then memorise then.

Since there wasn't an "other" or "none of the above" option, I couldn't vote.

However, I use None of the Above, and my Other option is to use an Address Book with my own coding:

Say I want to join Best Buy. I write Best Buy on the Name line. The link goes on the Address line (if necessary).

The third line contains my username/email address: Say my email addy is XanaXZender; I code it as xyz/out with my true password on the next line. I have two email addresses, and two usernames so it's kinda required that I have both email addresses represented.

Because I never write my complete email address in that book, and I don't write any of the info in my computer, nobody's gonna get in. I have Firefox set up to delete all history when I close it with just about everything else.

I may have made it seem complicated, but it's not really . . .
