I use Chrome Remoter Desktop to connect my indoor Desktop Windows 11 PC to my outdoor (new refurbished ) laptop.

Would a WiFi 6 router speed up communictions between the two?

    Have discovered 31/01/2022 Internet speed at router 41 mbps. At this PC 9. Internet is via wired ethernet.
WiFi 6 increases the number of streams to 12 across the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands.
It might not mean more 'speed' as it depends on the source and each device along the chain
needs to support WiFi 6.

Usually devices are backward compatible, not forward compatible.
WiFi 7 is agreed upon as a standard, devices should hit the market by the end of first quarter I think.
