  • Fixed an underlying issue causing File Explorer to crash when going to Home for some Insiders in the last few flights.

[Notifications]​

  • We’ve updated the underlying logic for when we suggest turning off notifications for certain apps, so that it requires a longer period of time without engaging with notifications from that app in order to trigger.

[Other]​

  • Fixed an issue where if you opened Settings within Windows Sandbox, it would show a check for Windows updates option even though the Windows update page didn’t show.

Known issues​

[General]​

  • [IMPORTANT NOTE] We are investigating reports that some Windows Insiders in the Canary and Dev Channels are stuck on Build 26040 or Build 23620. The investigation is ongoing, however if you are impacted by this and really want to get onto the latest build in the Canary or Dev Channel today – you can download the latest ISO here and do a clean install and opt your device back into flighting in the Canary or Dev Channels.

[Task Manager]​

  • We’re investigating an issue where the colors in the Performance section aren’t displaying correctly in dark mode.

Reminders for Windows Insiders in the Canary Channel​

  • The builds we release to the Canary Channel should not be seen as matched to any specific release of Windows and features and experiences included in these builds may never get released as we try out different concepts and get feedback. Features may change over time, be removed, or replaced and never get released beyond Windows Insiders. Some of these features and experiences could show up in future Windows releases when they’re ready.
  • Many features in the Canary Channel are rolled out using Control Feature Rollout technology, starting with a subset of Insiders and ramping up over time as we monitor feedback to see how they land before pushing them out to everyone in this channel.
  • Some features in active development we preview with Windows Insiders may not be fully localized and localization will happen over time as features are finalized. As you see issues with localization in your language, please report those issues to us via Feedback Hub.
  • To get off the Canary Channel, a clean install of Windows 11 will be required. As a reminder – Insiders can’t switch to a channel that is receiving builds with lower build numbers without doing a clean installation of Windows 11 due to technical setup requirements.
  • The desktop watermark shown at the lower right corner of the desktop is normal for these pre-release builds.

  • Copilot in Windows* is being rolled out gradually to Windows Insiders across our global markets. Customers in the European Economic Area will be able to download the Copilot in Windows experience as an app from the Microsoft Store.

Tieni presente che ho già tentato tutte le procedure di normalizzazione/riparazione inerenti WU ed in aggiunta, anche la reinstallazione della 26142, ma l'anomalia sembra essere a monte nella presentazione del menu di WU - mai successo fino ad oggi!

Ho già provato i comandi da te elencati e ti ringrazio cmq del suggerimento, francamente li ho anche ripetuti per vedere un miglioramento come anche ho reinstallato la stessa versione al di là di una riparazione oppure aggiornamento... Il risultato non cambia purtroppo. Ho verificato anche i servizi di WU... Ok.
Mi dà l'idea di una mia instabilità non meglio individuabile oppure un bug di installazione del processo UPP ovvero di un blocco dell'organizzazione a monte vista la mia situazione dei requisiti del PC e delle nuove policy sulle release...
Sono mie congetture ovviamente... Sto effettuando un ripristino da una copia di backup che ho (sempre) antecedente alla 26241, aspetto la nuova release successiva alla 26241, passerò di fatto la 26241 e vedrò se il problema si ripresenta e ti farò sapere . Grazie cmq.

Eng lang forum -- please translate post before posting -- screenshots in alternate languages are OK of course but the post should be in English.

For others :

This build totally hoses up language yet again !!!!
If they can't install the language pack properly when it worked for the previous build then mention that as a defect.

If you install some additional language packs over the base one (Using GB Eng as the Windows 11 base lang) then you can get a horrible miasma of bits of several languages on desktop, menus etc etc -- a real dogs dinner.

Language has been working fine on the last few buids --on this one it's 100% hosed up again.

Questa build inquina completamente il linguaggio ancora una volta!!!!
Se non riescono a installare correttamente il pacchetto linguistico quando funzionava con la build precedente, menzionalo come difetto.

Se installi alcuni pacchetti linguistici aggiuntivi rispetto a quello di base (utilizzando GB Eng come lingua base di Windows 11), puoi ottenere un orribile miasma di bit di diverse lingue sul desktop, menu, ecc. Ecc. - una vera cena per cani.

La lingua ha funzionato bene nelle ultime build, ma in questa è di nuovo completamente rovinata.

Ovviamente io ho installato il pacchetto in lingua italiana... Come ho fatto in tutte le release precedenti... Sempre con successo funzionale peraltro...
Mai installato multilingue... Non mi serve.
Forse non ho compreso cosa volevi dirmi... Perché so che c'è un traduttore automatico in tempo reale...
Quindi se puoi specificare meglio cosa intendi scrivermi...

This wasn't intended to fix anything as it only allows to run Windows Update directly.
Try a repair installation then.
